“How come he don’t want me, man?”

From what I’ve heard, Will Smith’s father actually left him. This wasn’t entirely scripted. Will went off on his own rant, and the hug at the end was genuine.

His character was just supposed to shrug off his dad leaving again and he starts to but then Will goes off script. That whole speech is coming entirely from him. The hug at the end is also genuine, actor to actor not character to character.

forever reblog.

Almost. Will actually wrote this part himself. It was supposed to be a little rant about how his dad is worthless (all true stuff for Will Smith) but the emotion of it escalated when Will begin to act it out, because it hit so close to home. If you watch the clip again, you can see the part where he stops acting and starts talking about his real dad. He wipes his lips, turns to Phil, and goes off for real. The hug was unscripted and genuine.

Elephants are legendary for their memory and intelligence including attributes associated with grief, making music, altruism and compassion. We came across this elephant whose corpse was overcome by vultures and jackals. From a distance we heard and then saw another elephant approaching at a fast pace. She was successful at chasing away the predators and then very slowly and with much empathy wrapped her trunk around the deceased elephants tusk. She stayed in this position for several hours guarding her friend.

Favorite animal. I named our intern house Casa de Elefante.

EverydayLife

I pretend you don’t annoy me every few seconds. I pretend our family isn’t so screwed up. I ignore the constant questions portraying to every little thing I’m doing. I smile and say “mhm” whenever you say something because you just irritate me. You try to be me. And you will never be young again so please let me live MY life and act your own age. I’m sick of this acting and portraying my Everyday Life.

Teenagers living at home having their meals cooked for them, their clothes bought & washed for them, and get to live rent free have it SO bad. Poor little children HAHA
